David Williams appointed as Judge

We are pleased to report that David Williams has been appointed a District Judge and assigned to the Weymouth and Dorset Combined Court Centre and Bournemouth and Poole County Court.

Our pleasure is tinged with sadness as it means he has left the practice he helped set up. David formally ceased his role here on 30 April and we will miss him.

Leeds ET awards £4.5 million for discrimination

We acted for the Claimant, Dr Eva Michalak, in the assessment of damages in this exceptional and sad case. Jane McNeil QC of Old Square Chambers appeared for Dr Michalak at the 5 day hearing in November.

Following a Review hearing in February, our additional work led to the award being increased by another £30,000.
